Gaming company PENN Entertainment has announced the launch of PGA TOUR Mines, its second PGA-themed iGaming title, following the rollout of PGA TOUR Blackjack in May.
Created by the company’s in-house developer, PENN Game Studios, the new game has gone live at Hollywood Casino in the New Jersey online casino market and theScore Casino in the Ontario online casinos market.
In PGA TOUR Mines, players pick tiles on a virtual grid to avoid mines and claim prizes. The game includes animations, PGA TOUR course artwork, and official branding, and according to PENN Entertainment, it offers an immersive experience for players.
Along with the earlier release of PGA TOUR Blackjack, these games represent the first time that official PGA TOUR branding has been associated with iGaming titles.
PENN adds to PGA products
Another aspect of the multi-year deal between PENN Entertainment and the PGA TOUR is the PGA live betting stream that debuted at this year’s WM Phoenix Open.
The stream is branded as ESPN BET on PGA TOUR Live, and after a successful debut, will be continued at six other FedExCup events throughout the 2025 season.
Jonathan Coachman hosts the stream, which includes contributions from former PGA professionals. It features betting discussions, insights drawn from the PGA's proprietary ShotLink data system, and the latest live odds.
It airs two hours before the main PGA TOUR broadcast begins, giving an early look at betting markets.
“Bringing these unique partnerships together is an important strategy in ESPN’s commitment to covering and expanding the audience for world-class golf across PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, TGL, the Masters, PGA Championship, LPGA, and more,” said Tim Bunnell, the Senior Vice President of Programming at ESPN, when the stream was first announced back in January.
PGA makes betting integrity deal with IC360

The deal will involve the PGA of America using the Integrity Monitoring and ProhiBet technologies provided by Integrity Compliance 360. The company will also provide guidance to the PGA of America, drawing on a team of regulators and industry professionals.
The partnership comes at a time when sports betting and its potential impact on sports and individuals are under increased scrutiny in the US, and organizations like the PGA are under pressure to do more to ensure sports integrity.
"This collaboration underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest integrity standards within golf by integrating IC360's cutting-edge Integrity Monitoring technology and the innovative ProhiBet solution.
