Gunnar Henderson has been gradually turning his season around after a tough start. He posted a mediocre .681 OPS throughout March and April, and now that's up to .991 through seven games in May.

He's registered a hit in 11 of Baltimore's last 12 games, a stretch that includes four multi-hit outings, six extra-base hits, and two home runs, the most recent of which came last night.

Zooming out a touch further, Henderson has slugged .539 with an .885 OPS across his last 23 contests, as Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun notes, putting that sluggish start further behind him.

Now he gets to keep teeing off on the Los Angeles Angels and their 26th-ranked pitching staff that's posted a 5.29 ERA.
