We are back on the grind after sweeping the slate last night - shoutout to the Brewers/Mets and Royals/Mariners for getting the job done. Let's end the week with some cash in our wallet.

We're now sitting at 40-26 with 8.07 extra units in our pocket this season. Our trek to the moon continues today with a pair of plays I absolutely love. Grab a hot dog, grab a beer, it's time to get into our first-inning picks and predictions using odds from our best sports betting sites.

Our old man Verlander is also riding a little bit of a high against the Athletics, holding them to a .189 batting average across 61 plate appearances against him. Lawrence Butler, Tyler Soderstrom, and Brent Rooker are a combined 3-for-14 versus Verlander, which is something we'll take considering the value we're getting. Buckle in for some balls in play, let's hit some gloves to get us three outs.

Sears is also a wild card, but he looks pretty good in this matchup. Over 55 plate appearances (we love big sample sizes), the Giants own just a .257 xBA, with Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, and Mike Yastrzemski hitting a collective .166 against our right-hander today. I think we may have extracted a ton of value on America's July 4th. Let's make it four straight wins.
