Alcaraz struggled in his opener against elder statesman Fabio Fognini, with the Italian forcing the Spaniard into a grueling five-set match. That won't faze the No. 2 seed, though, who will use it as motivation, spurring him to source a higher gear.

He's 29-3 on grass courts in his career and has won two straight championships at the All England Club. Not only will Alcaraz be in the mood to correct his Round 1 lethargy, but he will be battling an amateur qualifier making his Wimbledon debut. It's also Tarvet's first professional match on tour.

The 21-year-old British amateur had to win four matches just to advance to the second round of the main draw at Wimbledon, three of which were qualifiers. He will be elated to have made it this far, even more delighted to earn a dream matchup with Alcaraz.

However, he faces a monumental challenge in remaining competitive with arguably the world's best player on natural turf.
