Fresh off one of the biggest wins in WNBA history, the New York Liberty look to improve their WNBA championship odds when they face the Washington Mystics tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET from CareFirst Arena in D.C.

I'm not sure what the line would have to be to keep me from backing the Liberty in this spot. But this certainly isn't short enough.

New York has laid waste to the rest of the league this year, outscoring its seven opponents by an average of 20.6 points while featuring the WNBA's best offensive rating (112.8) and defensive rating (87.7). Only two of its seven wins to this point have been decided by fewer than 14 points.

These teams played last Friday in D.C., where the hosts fell down by 10 after the first quarter in an eventual 22-point loss. Then the Liberty returned home to host the Connecticut Sun and won by 48 points - the second-largest margin of victory in league history.

They've since enjoyed four days off between that historic win and this rematch with the Mystics, who have since lost to the Fever with Caitlin Clark on the sidelines. I don't see any reason to expect a different result in this rematch.

While Breanna Stewart leads the Liberty in scoring (18.1 PPG) through the first seven games, Sabrina Ionescu (17.9 PPG) has the highest prop total entering this contest at 18.5 points - likely due to the damage she dealt the Mystics when these teams met last week.
