The Connecticut Sun (5-21) pulled off a massive upset when they beat the New York Liberty (17-10) on Friday, which helped inform our Liberty vs. Sun prediction for today's rematch at Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Conn.

The Liberty have lost four in a row since Breanna Stewart went down with a bone bruise in her right knee. She remains out indefinitely, but Emma Meesseman should be nearing her season debut after being officially added to the roster on Friday.

New York should end its slide during Sunday’s rematch.

New York is capable of playing much better than that (even without Stewart) against the worst team in the league, as evidenced by its 100-93 loss to the Minnesota Lynx earlier this week.

The Sun outscored the Liberty, 32-24, in the paint. That seems like an easy fix for Jonquel Jones, who scored 14 points on nine shots on Friday. New York also committed 23 turnovers and grabbed seven rebounds.
