The New York Liberty (11-5) will aim to end a two-game skid when they host the Los Angeles Sparks (5-12) tonight. Tipoff from Barclay's Center is at 7 p.m. ET.

Despite the recent stretch, New York remains the best first-half team in the WNBA. The Liberty lead the league in first-half net rating (+16.5) and offensive rating (111.8).

The Sparks, meanwhile, are 10th in both net rating (-6) and defensive rating (105.4) in the first half of games this year.

New York hasn’t played since Sunday. The team’s last home game was on June 19, and I expect a motivated Liberty team in Barclays Center tonight.
