Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers will not play tonight against the Seattle Storm. She was ruled out for two games after entering the WNBA's concussion protocol and will be reevaluated following tonight's game in Seattle.

After an impressive 3-1 start, the Storm have backslid following a three-game losing streak that hindered their WNBA championship odds. Yet oddsmakers still have them installed as double-digit favorites to beat the Wings - and for good reason.

The last time these teams met, Seattle raced out to a 15-point halftime lead and cruised to an eventual 79-71 road win. That came with Bueckers - who ranks in the top 25 in points (14.7 PPG) and top five in assists (6.7 APG) - leading Dallas with 19 points and eight dimes in a losing effort.

The No. 1 pick won't suit up tonight as she works her way through the league's concussion protocol. The Wings didn't fare well without her in Saturday's 94-83 home loss to the Chicago Sky, who profile as the second-worst team in the WNBA by net rating, and they won just one game in six tries before that.

With the way that Skylar Diggins (17.9 PPG) and Gabby Williams (14 PPG) are playing in the Storm backcourt, that puts even more pressure on Dallas' leading scorer Arike Ogunbowale (17.3 PPG) to carry the load offensively while making up for the Wings' defensive deficiencies behind a shortened rotation.
