News broke Monday morning that the Dallas Cowboys will visit the rival Philadelphia Eagles for the NFL's 2025-26 season opener on Thursday, Sept. 4. The NFL schedule release has been one of the most discussed topics since Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Feb. 9. Since then, every fan base around the league has been waiting to find out when their favorite team(s) can start a journey to the Big Game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Season opener: Cowboys vs. Eagles, Thursday, Sept. 4 (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC)

As is tradition, the Super Bowl champions play in the NFL's Thursday opener. This time the Eagles host the rival Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The reigning Super Bowl champs are 7-point betting favorites by the opening Cowboys vs. Eagles odds.

The NFL will announce its International Games on Tuesday on Good Morning Football on NFL Network. This year's games include:

Two regular season games in London (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium) featuring the Jets and Browns as designated teams
One game in Berlin with the Colts
One game in Madrid with the Dolphins
First-ever regular season game in Dublin with the Steelers
One game in Sao Paulo with the Chargers
Jaguars will return to Wembley Stadium in London to operate a home game
