BetMGM Announces its ‘March Matchups’ for NCAA Basketball Tournament

New promotions

BetMGM announced that players will find six new promotions this March. The highlights include the ‘March Matchups $250,000 Pick’em’, a new free-to-play game that lets players participate throughout the men’s tournament. The player who receives the most points with their picks on any given day can win the grand prize of $25,000. There is also the ‘Underdog Boosts.’ This promotion increases the players’ odds on longshots in the tournament's early rounds by adding an odds boost token to underdogs with pregame moneyline odds of +200 or greater. 

However, neither of these promotions is available in the Nevada sports betting, Ontario sports betting, or Puerto Rico sports betting markets. What players in these regions can enjoy, though, is the ‘Original Bets’ promotion, including creative bet options such as ‘How many dunks will each team have in the game?’

Likewise, ‘Hoops and Hops’ is returning to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and for players outside of Las Vegas, BetMGM has compiled a list of activities across the US.

bet365 returns with the ‘Bracket Challenge’

BetMGM is far from the only operator launching new promotions during March Madness. bet365 has also announced the return of its ‘bet365 Bracket Challenge’, a free-to-play predictor game that tests players' knowledge and lets them win up to $10 million. 

Last year, the first-place winners of the ‘Bracket Challenge’ each won $62,500. The total payout to all 5,000 players was reported as $250,000.
