Masters Odds & Bets to Make Now: How, When to Bet PGA Tour and LIV Golf Stars

The 2025 Masters tees off at Augusta National Golf Course in one week, and the green jacket will be donned four days later on Sunday, April 13. While Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are sure to remain the consensus betting favorites by the Masters odds, this weekend's golf events will influence the oddsboard with stars and contenders playing in Texas and Miami.
The PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open features a strong field with multiple top-tier Masters contenders. LIV Golf's Miami event comes with its usual cast, with the likes of Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka making their final tuneup appearance before returning to Augusta.
Let's look at this week's top golfers across the two events and how their Masters odds may shift come Monday morning.

⏰ Masters bets to make now
Collin Morikawa
Best odds: +1800 via DraftKings ($10 pays $180)
Morikawa fronted my early Masters picks following the Super Bowl, and his odds to win the first major of 2025 have been shortening as expected. Though he still hasn't won since the fall of 2023, Morikawa has posted two runner-up finishes this year and a T-10 in The Players Championship.
He's not playing this week, but Morikawa is already becoming a popular pick for golf bettors on social media. I expect that popularity to rise over the weekend as word quickly spreads of his statistical form. The two-time major winner leads all qualified golfers in strokes gained: approach across the last six months.
Brooks Koepka
Best odds: +3400 via FanDuel ($10 pays $340)
The first of four members from the LIV Golf circuit being highlighted here, the lingering +3400 odds for Koepka to win the Masters will disappear come the end of the weekend. After a lackluster start to his 2025 schedule, Koepka finished second in the LIV Golf: Singapore event, and he's +1600 to win this week.
Though he struggled in both Miami (T-45) and Augusta (T-45) last year, Koepka won LIV's event in Orlando the week before a T-2 finish in the Masters two years ago. The five-time major champion has logged three career top-10 finishes in the Masters.
Bryson DeChambeau
Best odds: +2100 via FanDuel ($10 pays $210)
DeChambeau is +900 to win in Miami this week. It's a real mystery why he's still getting a 4.55% implied win probability for the Masters.
He tied for seventh in Miami this time last year, and DeChambeau is coming off a T-10 showing in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. His T-6 finish in last year's Masters was his worst result of the first three golf majors that season.
Ludvig Aberg
Best odds: +1700 via FanDuel ($10 pays $170)
Aberg, who's already a winner of a Signature Event this PGA Tour season, is the betting favorite by this week's Valero Texas Open odds at +1200. While I'm not backing him to win this week, I'm advising to get an early piece of his +1700 odds to win the Masters. That price will shrink should he do what our best sports betting sites expect in Texas.
The Swede also finished second in his Masters debut last year and continues to look like an excellent fit for Augusta National. I'm definitely interested in a top-five bet for next week.
Joaquin Niemann
Best odds: +2900 via FanDuel ($10 pays $290)
I'm not recommending betting on Niemann to win the Masters, as his current odds are shorter than Koepka's price. But if you want to do it, now is the time. Niemann is getting the second-shortest odds to win LIV Golf: Miami at +700, and a victory in the precursor event would drastically shorten his Masters odds.
Corey Conners
Best odds: +7000 via DraftKings ($10 pays $700)
Conners entered Round 1 of last year's Masters with +8000 odds in the outright betting market. He finished 38th, but Conners produced a run of three straight top-10 finishes in Augusta not long ago.
Most importantly here, Conners is a two-time winner of the Valero Texas Open, and he's getting the second-shortest odds - behind only Aberg - to win it again this week. I'm much more interested in him as a top-10 bet in the Masters, and bettors should be getting a share of his +550 odds via BetRivers in that market before Monday morning.
🫸 Masters bets to make later
Scottie Scheffler
Best odds: +460 via FanDuel ($10 pays $46)
Scheffler was getting odds of +500 to win last year's Masters prior to the start of Round 1. After winning the tournament for the second time in three years, he opened with +500 odds to take it again in 2025.
Now his odds have shrunk to a market-best of +460 a week before the first major of the year. He's not playing this week, so there's nothing to lose by holding off. With any luck for prospective bettors, Aberg will win the Valero Texas Open and Rahm, DeChambeau, or Koepka will triumph in Miami to shorten their respective odds and raise Scheffler's price.
Rory McIlroy
Best odds: +650 via DraftKings ($10 pays $65)
The logic here is similar to the above, with the exception that McIlroy - as we're well aware - hasn't won the Masters.
He entered Round 1 at +1000 to win last year and, after a T-22 finish, opened at +1400 to emerge victorious in 2025. His odds have shortened after victories in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players Championship early in 2025. McIlroy is inactive this week, so the most likely scenario is his odds lengthening over the weekend, as he's already the most-bet golfer to win the 2025 Masters at BetMGM.
Jon Rahm
Best odds: +1800 via Caesars ($10 pays $180)
New users only. Must use promo code. Min. $10 deposit. Max. bonus is ten 100% Profit Boost tokens. Profit Boost tokens expire in 14 days. Void where prohibited. Full terms.
Rahm is the +600 betting favorite to win LIV Golf: Miami. The Masters champion of two years ago finished T-4 in Miami last year ahead of a disappointing T-45 showing in Augusta. I'm expecting his focus to be more on the year's first major this time around.
These Masters odds should become more profitable if Koepka, DeChambeau, or another LIV contender finish ahead of him this week.
Viktor Hovland
Best odds: +3600 via FanDuel ($10 pays $360)
After a pretty poor run of form over much of the past year - beginning with a missed cut in the Masters and including three straight missed cuts early in 2025 - Hovland won the Valspar Championship two weeks ago. His Masters odds shortened accordingly.
As such, we already missed the boat to a degree. Our best hope now is for those around Hovland on the Masters oddsboard who are playing this week to do well in Texas. Should any of their Masters odds shorten following a strong showing in the Valero Texas Open, Hovland's price may rise for a little extra value come Monday morning.
