Masters Odds & Field Update: Scheffler & McIlroy Lead Betting Lines for Augusta National

Scottie Scheffler (+450 Masters odds) and Rory McIlroy (+650 Masters odds) solidified themselves as the betting favorites by the 2025 Masters odds with strong Sunday finishes in the Texas Children's Houston Open.

Though they came up short of Min Woo Lee and the win in Houston, Scheffler and McIlroy fired two of the best scores in Round 4. With that as their final tune-up for the first major of 2025, they head to Augusta National Golf Course in excellent form and as the consensus Masters betting favorites across our best golf betting sites. Another strong field is listed in this week's Valero Texas Open odds and the results will impact the Masters odds accordingly.

The 2025 Masters field is now set at 96 golfers with one more invitation to go to the winner of next week's Valero Texas Open, if they're not already exempt. Michael Kim earned one of the final tickets to the Masters by finishing last week at No. 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR).

Odds to win the Masters

After hanging on for his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday, Lee's best Masters odds sit at +6000 via DraftKings. Representing an implied win probability of 1.64%, those odds would return a profit of $600 on a winning $10 bet if he wins at Augusta National on Sunday, April 13.

The defending Masters champion remains No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and is the betting favorite once again as he leads the field back to Augusta National.

Though he's yet to win in 2025 after an injury-delayed start to the season, he saved one of his best performances for Houston and seems to be at the top of his game after a final round of 7-under par, 63, to finish T-2 behind Lee.

Scheffler leads all but two qualified golfers in true strokes gained: approach this season. That and his short-game wizardry have separated him from the rest of the field at Augusta National twice before. There's little reason to expect anything different when the tournament begins on April 10.

Rory McIlroy (+650 Masters odds)

McIlroy came out flat in Round 1 of the Houston Open while making his first tournament appearance at Memorial Park Golf Course. It didn't take long for him to learn the course, as he went 15-under over the final three rounds, including a score of minus-6 on Sunday to finish T-5.

He's leading all golfers except for Scheffler and Collin Morikawa in strokes gained: tee-to-green and his 1.15 SG: off-the-tee is the best on the PGA Tour this season. Those are always key stats for Augusta National.

Already a two-time winner this season - the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players Championship - McIlroy is No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standings ahead of the year's first major. Though he missed the cut in two of his past four appearances in the Masters, he's in peak for this season as he chases the elusive career grand slam once again.

However, bettors will not be happy to hear about a possible right elbow injury with just a week to go before the Masters.

Jon Rahm (+1600 Masters odds)

Best odds: +1600 via Caesars | $10 bet pays a $160 profit

The Masters champion of two years ago enters the 2025 tournament fourth on the outright oddsboard behind Scheffler, McIlroy, and Ludvig Aberg (+1500 Masters odds). He has four finishes ranging from second to T-6 on the LIV Golf circuit this year, but also a missed cut in the DP World Tour's Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

He - and Bryson DeChambeau (+1800 Masters odds) and Brooks Koepka (+3300 Masters odds) - will have their final tune-up at LIV Golf Miami and Trump National Doral Golf Course this week. However, Rahm finished just T-45 in his attempted defense of the Masters following last year following his LIV departure.

Min Woo Lee Masters odds

Best odds: +6000 via DraftKings | $10 bet pays a $600 profit

Lee entered Sunday of the Houston Open in firm control of the leaderboard and seemed like he'd be able to cruise to his first PGA Tour victory. But nothing in golf is easy, and the Australian had to sweat it out despite going 3-under in his own final round.

Lee has three career victories on the DP World Tour. He's played all four majors each of the past three years, with a best overall result of T-5 in the 2023 U.S. Open. His best result at Augusta was a T-14 in his 2022 debut, and he tied for 22nd last year.

These odds will drop as he becomes a more popular long-shot pick over the coming week, but I'll be grabbing a piece of the +6000.
