⚾ Kyle Schwarber (Phillies) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Schwarber's incredible 47-game on-base streak came to an end last week against the St. Louis Cardinals. However, that means he can now turn his attention to another milestone, career home run No. 300. The Phillies slugger is one "Schwarbomb" away from this mark as he heads to the homer-friendly confines of Coors Field.

Schwarber is slashing .279/.371/.607 throughout May so far, with six home runs in 61 at-bats. He hasn't taken opposing starter Kyle Freeland yard yet in his career, but there's hope he can after clubbing three long balls in his last seven appearances.

The Rockies' "ace" has had a tough go of things lately, posting a 6.15 ERA for the season. He's allowed opponents to take him deep in three of the last four, so he won't be thrilled to step onto the mound against Philadelphia's power-rich lineup today.

Freeland has had historical success against Schwarber (2-for-15). However, we're sitting with the hitter here, given the two players are trending in opposite directions. The 32-year-old has an OPS of 1.158 against left-handed pitchers, and he's hit seven of his 15 round-trippers against southpaws.
