We're off to a soaring start in our daily search for baseballs that sail into the far reaches of upper decks. Tyler O'Neill (+375) continued his Opening Day power surge, and Kyle Schwarber (+425) contributed a solo blast during the Philadelphia Phillies' extra-innings win over the Washington Nationals.

Now, after hitting those two to open the campaign, we'll try to keep rolling with our best home run prop bets today on Day 2 of a fresh baseball season.

The overarching focus of today is capitalizing on lefty mashers in appealing matchups. It's irresistible with so many, including Max Muncy, Yordan Alvarez, and Kyle Tucker.

Immediately we encounter the importance of looking for the best price, which can be especially critical when you're shopping for sluggers in this market, as they get comparatively shorter odds. FanDuel's offering for Max Muncy tonight is much worse at +390 next to the +425 through BetMGM.

Muncy's approach is beyond established at this point. His career .228 batting average and OPS of .826 (which sat at .852 last year) show he's very much in the modern baseball mold while selling out to do damage.

He faces Jack Flaherty today, and Muncy unsurprisingly pounces on righties. He hit 12 of his 15 home runs last year against right-handed starters, with an .893 OPS compared to .725 against lefties.

⚾ Kyle Tucker (Cubs) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐

Tucker draws Merrill Kelly during his second regular-season game with the Chicago Cubs. Kelly has given up 20-plus home runs in all of his fully healthy MLB seasons so far, including a high of 29.

The outfielder and lefty laser-beam producer also napalms righties, and does so in an even more eye-popping way than Muncy. Tucker is a quality all-around hitter, but both his batting average (.262 to .305) and OPS (.840 to a whopping 1.082) rose significantly last year against righties.

Jameson Taillon has been a human homer launchpad in general. He's averaged 24.5 homers allowed over the past four seasons, and the righty is just one season removed from a career high of 27.

But lefties particularly blow up Taillon, with a slugging percentage last year that sat at .428 versus .343 against righties.

Enter the lefty Caroll, who struggled immensely during the first half of last year before significantly turning his season around. He registered a .919 OPS in the second half after putting up a putrid .635 in the first half.

We're also throwing ourselves at an extreme outlier price here, as several of our other best MLB betting sites are at +425 or below for the same wager on Carroll, including BetMGM.

New York Mets starter Tylor Megill was giving up home runs by the bucket before an injury-plagued 2024 season. That includes 18 over a modest 126 1/3 innings in 2023, and 19 across just 89 2/3 innings as a rookie in 2021.

Air Yordan is yet another monster from the left side, and he clubbed 25 of his 35 homers last year against righties. His hard-hit percentage also sat in the 93 percentile, and Alvarez's average exit velocity was in the 97th.
