Flagg would be an interesting addition with Utah's current lineup as well, given that Lauri Markkanen is one of the NBA's best court-stretching 7-footers. Washington Wizards (+550)
Washington selected Alex Sarr, who was among the NBA Rookie of the Year odds contenders, with the No. 2 pick in last year's draft. Despite Sarr's solid play, Washington posted the worst record in the Eastern Conference. The only way the team's outlook could get better soon is if it wins the lottery and selects Flagg.
Flagg would give Washington a true star with the potential to finally turn this bottom-feeder franchise around. His versatile skill set should quickly make him one of the toughest matchups in the league due to Flagg's defensive prowess and passing instincts. The Wizards had been so bad in the Eastern Conference that it's helped cover up how poorly Charles Lee's first season in the Queen City went this year. With the Hornets in desperate need of improvement on both ends of the court and hoping to find a versatile scorer to pair with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, Flagg would fit in perfectly.
The freshman phenom just gave Duke one of its most memorable seasons, and so many of the Blue Devil fans in North Carolina would likely love to see him stay in the state. The idea of pairing Flagg with Ball is tantalizing.

Everything went downhill quickly for the New Orleans Pelicans this year with injuries across the board. That led to GM Bryson Graham and the Pelicans' brass throwing in the towel early. New Orleans shipped out Brandon Ingram prior to the NBA trade deadline after realizing the team was in too big of a hole to dig itself out of in a competitive Western Conference.
While the Pelicans' poor record reflects the chaotic nature of this past season, the team boasts a decent core if it can remain healthy going forward. Adding Flagg to a New Orleans nucleus consisting of Trey Murphy III, Herb Jones, Dejounte Murray, and Zion Williamson could translate to wins quicker than any other situation atop the oddsboard.
