Trae Young will look to lead his Atlanta Hawks over Tyler Herro and the Miami Heat tonight with the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference on the line. Tipoff from State Farm Arena in Atlanta is 7 p.m. ET (TNT).

Young averaged 11.6 assists per game during the regular season, but he only managed 6 against the Orlando Magic’s top-ranked scoring defense in his first play-in game. While that performance will worry some bettors, especially with Young now facing the seventh-ranked scoring defense, Young’s numbers against the Heat were incredible this season.

Young dished out at least 12 assists in three of his four games against the Heat this season, and on two occasions, he recorded at least 14. The Heat’s defense was phenomenal in their first postseason game against the Chicago Bulls, but Young is too experienced and talented to let the fifth-highest scoring offense in the NBA fail tonight.

🔥 Tyler Herro Over 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Herro was incredible against the Bulls, dropping 38 points in 37 minutes. He made 13 of his 19 field goal attempts and also consistently got to the free throw line, where he made 9 of his 10 attempts.

Herro should be similarly impressive tonight, as he takes on the league’s third-worst scoring defense. Herro has faced the Hawks four times, and he’s only topped this number twice. However, in one of those games, he dropped 36. Considering how he just played on Wednesday, and the lack of resistance he’ll get from the Hawks tonight, this is one of the best plays of the game.

🔥 Bam Adebayo Under 9.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

Adebayo just pulled down 12 rebounds against the Magic on Wednesday, the third time in four games that he finished with exactly that many rebounds. Yet, despite averaging 9.6 rebounds per game, his Under is the right play tonight, especially at the price of +105 that DraftKings is offering.

In four games against the Hawks, Adebayo has yet to pull down more than 10 rebounds. He’s pulled down exactly 10 twice, which means that this line is set right where it should be, but considering the price and the fact that he’s finished in single digits twice, there’s no value in taking the Over. And, while the Hawks give up a lot of points, they don’t give up a lot of rebounds. They’re allowing the 12th-fewest per game, giving up just 52.0 per contest.
