NFL Christmas Schedule & Odds: Chiefs Spreading Holiday Cheer for 2nd Straight Year

The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos will add a chapter to their divisional rivalry during prime time on Christmas Day.

The NFL Christmas schedule and odds are starting to emerge amid the NFL schedule release festivities this week, and the league is once again set to bring plenty of holiday cheer.

Three games will be played alongside the gleeful unwrapping of presents and subsequent mass consumption of ham and/or turkey. The tripleheader begins at 1 p.m. ET and concludes with an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on a second streaming service.

There will be three games on Christmas Day this season, which more conveniently falls on a Thursday, allowing the day to reach Thanksgiving levels of football viewing. Netflix will continue the doubleheader it started last year, and now Prime Video is jumping in with a prime-time game.

🎄 Cowboys vs. Commanders, Thursday, Dec. 25 (1 p.m. ET, Netflix)

The NFL's Christmas Day tripleheader begins at 1 p.m. ET on Netflix, with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the rival Washington Commanders. Jayden Daniels, the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year, went 1-1 against the Cowboys last season, losing at home in Week 12 and winning on the road in Week 18.

🎄 Lions vs. Vikings, Thursday, Dec. 25 (4:30 p.m. ET, Netflix)

The Detroit Lions won both of their games against the Minnesota Vikings last season, including a 31-9 victory in Week 18 to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

🎄 Chiefs vs. Broncos, Thursday, Dec. 25 (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video)

The Chiefs will be filling up your holiday season, as they're also scheduled to visit the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

This will be the latest clash in a longtime rivalry - one the Chiefs have been dominating. The Chiefs had beaten Denver 16 straight times during the regular season until the Broncos finally snapped that losing run during the second game between the division foes two years ago.

Denver won again during Week 18 last season, though that comes with an asterisk after the Chiefs had secured their playoff position and rested most starters, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
