Devils vs. Blackhawks Odds, NHL Player Props & Score Predictions Tonight: March 26

The New Jersey Devils will hope the Windy City offers the cure for their three-game losing skid. While the Devils' Stanley Cup odds plummeted in the last month, their position as the Metropolitan Division's third-place team has been safe for some time.
That will be of little consolation if they can't beat a Chicago Blackhawks team that has lost seven of the last eight games. My Devils vs. Blackhawks prediction and player props foresee a Devils victory in regulation, along with a productive outing from three players.
Tonight's game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET from the United Center in Chicago (TNT).

🎯 Devils vs. Blackhawks score prediction: Devils 3, Blackhawks 2
There's no way the Devils have rid themselves of the lingering sour taste from Monday's game at home against the Vancouver Canucks. I certainly haven't. I backed the Devils to win 3-2, and everything was hunky-dory until the Canucks tied the game at three with 36 seconds remaining in the third period.
They eventually lost 4-3 in a shootout, annoying me, anyone who tailed that perfect score prediction, and everyone associated with the Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues.
While it might take a few days for me to recover, I expect an angry, focused Devils team against one of the league's bottom feeders. However, I don't trust the Devils enough to expect them to win by two or more goals. A win in regulation is the most likely result.
Chicago broke its seven-game losing streak on Sunday at home, taking advantage of a Philadelphia Flyers team that had PTSD after losing four straight to Carolina, Tampa Bay, Washington, and Dallas. While the Blackhawks will be more confident after racking up seven against Philly, I'm swayed more by New Jersey's collective fury.
The Blackhawks scored 10 goals in their recent seven-game skid, while the Devils allow the second-fewest goals per game in enemy barns (2.44). That's why I'm backing the Devils to win 3-2 in regulation.

🏒 Best Timo Meier prop pick: Anytime goal ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +145 via BetMGM ($10 to win $14.50)

Meier did his part against the Canucks, scoring two goals. He has five goals in the last seven games, equating to a .71 goal-per-game clip in that minute sample size. He scored 17 goals in the previous 64 games, a .27 goals-per-game rate. So, he's hotter than the spiciest Vindaloo you'll ever consume.
In addition, Meier three goals in the last four games against the Blackhawks, including potting one in their only other meeting this season. Of our best sportsbooks, BetMGM and bet365 offer the best price.

Like Meier, Bertuzzi is also playing his best hockey of the season. It's too bad it's come about 60 games too late for the Blackhawks. Bertuzzi ate the Flyers alive last game, scoring three points.
He has six points in the previous four games after going five without registering one. His hot streak will invariably end soon; I'm just hoping he'll have one more productive outing before that eventuality sets in. Bertuzzi is also productive against the Devils, lighting the lamp three times in the last four games against them.
📊 Best Tyler Bertuzzi prop bet odds
🏒 Best Connor Bedard prop pick: Over 0.5 points ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -130 via DraftKings ($10 to win $7.69)
When the Blackhawks score, there's a good chance Bedard is in on it. I also like his goals prop for this game, but I decided to go the safer route, as the Blackhawks rarely score more than two goals. Bedard has four points in the last four games, posting at least one in three. He had two points against the Flyers and looked dangerous throughout.
If the Blackhawks score two, Bedard should contribute to at least one.
