The New York Rangers host the Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden in New York tonight (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT) after blowing their playoff chances due to a 3-6-1 stretch.

The Flyers, meanwhile, are rooted in the basement of the Eastern Conference.

Featuring J.T. Miller, Travis Konecny, and Adam Fox, our Flyers vs. Rangers prediction and player props expect New York to do their best too-little-too-late Broadway act.

📊 Flyers vs. Rangers pick & odds: Who will win tonight's NHL matchup?

As of 6 a.m. ET, the Rangers are the -190 moneyline favorites to beat the Flyers (+160) in tonight's matchup from Madison Square Garden in New York. I predict the Rangers will win in regulation.

🔢 Flyers vs. Rangers odds & betting lines

Here are the latest Flyers vs. Rangers odds and betting lines from our best live betting sites.

🎯 Flyers vs. Rangers score prediction: Rangers 5, Flyers 2

It is too late for the Rangers to make a final playoff push or save face.

They've been that brutal down the stretch, throwing every opportunity to secure passage to the dance. While there's no escaping how bitterly disappointing the Rangers season has been, the collective must feel like a massive weight has been lifted from their shrugged shoulders.

I expect them to play an unencumbered and loose brand of hockey in front of their home fans, which has been missing for much of the season.

Despite winning three of the last four, the Flyers have the third-worst record since March 4 (4-11-1). Before their current mini-run, they lost 11 of 12.

While there is always a chance the Blueshirts - who were outscored in the previous two games 9-1 - won't show up for a third straight, I expect the pride of a team that made it to last season's Eastern Conference Final to supersede everything else.

The Rangers beat the Flyers 6-1 the last time they met at Madison Square Garden, and while I expect another multi-goal win, I'll settle for a victory after 60 minutes.

Miller has been one of the few offensive bright spots for the Rangers, posting nine points in the last seven games, six of which were assists. He has at least one helper in five of the last seven games, accumulating six in that stretch. While Miller hasn't played all that well historically against Philadelphia, he's the type of player who won't quit on his team or city. That should be apparent tonight.

🏒 Best Travis Konecny prop pick: Over 0.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +135 via bet365 ($10 to win $13.50)

Like Miller in New York, Konecny has been a breath of fresh air in the City of Brotherly Love. The Canadian rolls into the Big Apple on a four-game assist streak, posting six. He has seven assists in the last six games and registered an assist in three of the previous four meetings with the Blueshirts.

And the Rangers' defense has been more porous than one of the countless manholes pock-marking the streets of New York. The +135 odds bet365 is offering, the longest of our best sports betting sites, sweeten the deal.

📊 Best Travis Konecny prop bet odds

🏒 Best Adam Fox prop pick: Over 1.5 shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -128 via FanDuel ($10 to win $7.81)

The only Fox that hasn't been sly since the start of the campaign, the former Norris Trophy winner has endured a miserable season compared to his lofty standards.

But, with at least two shots in four of the last five, he's a good bet to hit the Over in this one. Fox fired at least two shots on net in three of the previous meetings with Philly, too. And if the Rangers are on top in this game like I expect them to be, Fox should be in for another 3+ shot evening.
