The Ottawa Senators have found their offensive range in recent weeks, particularly in the last seven games, where they've netted at least four goals six times. That uptick in scoring coincides with the trade deadline and the acquisition of Dylan Cozens, who is acclimating to life in Ottawa like a frog to marshlands.

Six of the Senators' last seven games had at least six goals, while seven of the Maple Leafs' previous 10 contests hit the Over, too.

Toronto's defensive coverage hasn't been anywhere near good enough recently. It's been far inferior to Craig Berube's first few months in charge when the Maple Leafs were among the league leaders in several defensive categories, including goals allowed per 60 minutes 5-on-5.

Both previous meetings between these fierce rivals had three goals, but I'm expecting their recent highly productive offenses to facilitate an explosive and entertaining evening. Ottawa won the first two games 3-0 and 2-1, which is why I'm predicting the Maple Leafs will win 4-3.

Stutzl has recently been one of the NHL's best set-up men. I backed him to notch a helper against the Philadelphia Flyers, and he dually obliged 24 seconds after the opening puck drop. While I expect him to endure a cooling-off period soon, I hope it doesn't start against the Buds. 

He doesn't have a helper against the Maple Leafs in the last three meetings but notched five in the previous three. Stutzl has posted 17 assists in the last 16 games, bettered only by three others.
