Bayern Munich were my team to watch from the onset of the competition, and I'm back on the runaway Bundesliga odds favorites' bandwagon after they trounced Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 in the Round of 16. Admittedly, Bayer Leverkusen are nowhere near Inter Milan's equal.
However, the German giants are back on track, and Harry Kane is healthy and scoring goals more readily than a dog licks its paws. He is the key to everything for this Munich team, and I believe he has the skill set and, maybe more importantly, the desire and motivation to make this run come to fruition.
Bayern Munich were robbed in last season's semifinals against Real Madrid, and they have a chip larger than Kane's growing no-trophy complex on their collective shoulders. Along with Kane's hunger to win a premium trophy, that could be enough to take this team to the Promised Land.
